Walking through places;

walking through ages

Coming from darkness to darkness we’ll return;

in the middle, Light.

Light that reveals and hides, with shadow.

Every shadow is mathematical.

Walk.

Because nothing is still.

Though Mystery is immutable.

Mystery is mathematical, science unveils it.

Am I in the mystery?

Surprised: I see, listen, smell, touch. Taste.

Sameness does not exist, everything is different.

Even difference is mathematical.

Do I create or recognize? I am seeking.

Camminare per i luoghi;

camminare per le età.

Provenendo dal buio al buio si ritorna;

nel mezzo la Luce.

Luce che rende visibile e che nasconde, con l’ombra.

Ogni ombra è matematica.

Camminare.

Perché nulla è fermo.

Immutabile però è il Mistero.

Matematico il mistero, la scienza lo disvela.

Ci sono nel mistero?

Sorpreso: vedo, ascolto, odoro, tocco. Assaporo.

Non esiste l’uguale, tutto è diverso.

Matematico anche il diverso.

Creo o riconosco? Cerco.

Giorgio Di Maio photographs Eraclitus’ hidden harmony with the aim of enhancing the concept “it was always under my eyes”;  to re-educate the eye to pay attention to simple things and what is essential. A native of Naples, Giorgio Di Maio, after many exhibitions in his city, is showing his work “Milano in Armonia” at Palazzo Castiglione, from 23 April to 7 May, as part of Milano PhotoFestival 2018.

You can see his work on Facebook under @hiddenharmony and on Instagram as @armonia nascosta.
