from Kaleidoscopic Omniscience, edited by Daniel Staniforth, Skylight Press, 2013

Living

beneath the murderous pressure

of time & corrosion

one is transfixed by glints

by a mirage

which fulminates diamonds

into a greenish albino blackness

which deflects the staggering

from Newtonian labour for bread

for earning ducats which burn

like illusional marionettes

miming a deadly archery to the veins

they sing falsely

like the intestinal coinage of time counters

who enunciate the rhetoric of worth

who tear the flame from one’s inches

by means of blank quotidian ire

daily

counting one’s head

like nervous leprosy wardens

lengthening

& shortening one’s cudgel

so as to replicate imbalance

attempting to ensnare the bell in one’s soul

by leaving the sun scrambled

by having the zodiac partially burned in one’s fractional houses

in response one becomes

fratricidal

hounding

tempestuous as a delta

with the ghosts of drowned cobras

one stores up insults

one takes on the face threatening neural volcanoes

one truly becomes severed

dreaming homicide by intransigence

by lightning burns

by flames from the black widows’ love nest

the struggles

the vices

the work

the absolute hatred for dominance & capital

nurturing the blood

from the rum of one’s woundings

lighting capsized tornadoes

with winged delusional edicts

pacing back & forth

like an explosion of dried cataracts

so that

the absent biology

the mirrors of rain & dust

erase

the terse mechanical dropsy of limits

& become the fierce axial exchanges

the murdered dove growers

who resurrect

a series of proto-ambulations

a movement of lime & melted vertigo

against horography

against Greco-Roman linear increases

yes

to take as one’s body eclectic meridional winds

to extract from unknown seas a bevy of Incan compass reports

so if one says

wave after wave of concentrated snow fish

or if one says

a tonnage of raw selenium malice

one suddenly takes on a dense resurrectional rubidium myopia

yes

it is because

the moon is always capable of meandering modes & mathematics

of creatureless blood stains

of shattered pre-Socratic dice & upheaval

which absolves the self

of time games

& blood zones

which hallucinate & transpose their burdens

to an oblique terrace

where human & angel human

take from each of their ciphers

crystals

crossing points

confusions

each of their maniacal murmurs on a sun boat

across voidless athanasias

sailing through

medial stellar rarefactions

so that each

of the bodies one possesses

will exercise its fabulous exercise pestles

its acrobatics of exile

its high collusional dialectics

rising

like the highest craters

amongst the 9 known planets

one then surmounts

the flaming strychnine concentrations

gambling away one’s salacious personal frauds

so that one floats by suspension

imbibing the force

of interminate comets & hail
